Over the past 10 years, Ringo Consultants have obtained an impressive portfolio of clients. Here is a brief summery of some of the project work taken up by ourselves and links to any web based projects. |
Web Based Solutions |
ahrisk Services (www.ahrisk.com) |
ahrisk requested a
web based solution in order to provide online services for their business,
in order to offer their clients a solution to selling travel insurance, be
it online or customer centre based. The system covers all of the booking facility, as well as the back office reporting and administration, policy renewal process, and statistical reporting for all clients. The technology used was a three tiered approach, with ASP as the presentation tier, Visual Basic as the Business tier, and SQL Server as the data tier. |
Physiosure.com (www.physiosure.com) |
We were asked to produce a web based solution for their on-line professional indemnity produce, to allow for on-line sales to customers. This system incorporates a compete web experience including merchant services and also allows for administering of the site including rate maintenance. |
London City Pool (www.londonpool.com) |
We were asked to
create an online experience for the London City Pool League, in order to
allow the running of the league and also to show all participants
information about the league. The database driven site used ASP pages along with a SQL Server database. |
Thomson Financial (www.extelsurvel.com) |
This project focussed
on the ability to make the manual process of a Financial Survey into a web

to the actual voting, all the way through to the results presentation was
implemented using web services. The technology used Flash and HTML for the presentation tier, ASP for the business tier and SQL Sever as the data tier. The maintenance system for the call centre was provided using Visual Basic and a SQL Server backend. |
Client Server Based Solutions |
Adams Childrenswear |
We designed and
implemented client server based technology to assist with the opening of new
stores for Adams Childrenswear chain. The software package created assisted
by allowing them to project manage the whole process of opening stores and
providing management reporting to show progress. The technology used involved Visual Basic and Access, along with crystal reports and third party controls. |
Citibank |
We were brought in to
assist with the conversion of all products to enable Fixed Income and
Warrants to work with the introduced Euro currency. The projects involved working with Visual Basic systems and complex Excel VBA projects, as well as Access database solutions. |
Financial Times Information |
Financial Times
required an automated way of processing the survey forms to generate results
for their yearly event. We provided an effective solution, written using Visual Basic and Access, to allow them to data entry the forms being sent in, generating the results, and then exporting these results to be sent to the publisher where the books were then produced. |
Hewlett Packard |
HP required a
solution to provide a marketing tool for one of its clients. The tool would
allow for the tracking of it's new products to then be able to evaluate the
effect of the marketing campaign. The solution provided by us was written using Visual Basic front end with a Oracle database. |
National Grid |
National grid
requested our services to help with the rewriting of their complex charging
system. We were working with several other contractors and companies in
order to provide the complete solution. Our Visual Basic and Oracle expertise was required for most of the project, with our testing skills also being utilised. |

We were requested by
CMG to help with a large development project for Shell, to provide a
